On July 14th, the φ 6260mm EPB shield machine jointly produced by Tianjin Heavy Industry and China Railway Engineering Service Co., Ltd., after 32 days of hard work, successfully completed the whole machine assembly and electromechanical-hydraulic joint debugging, and passed the factory acceptance.

This EPB shield machine has a excavation diameter of 6.3 meters, a total equipment length of 75 meters, a total main driving power of 1,100 kilowatts, and a total thrust of 41,600 kilowatts. It has a horizontal turning capacity of 250 meters and will serve the urban rail transit construction in Hefei, Anhui Province.

Party member Commando was set up by Tianjin Heavy Industry, which organized elite soldiers to devote themselves to the intense equipment manufacturing task. They lead by example, take the initiative to undertake the hard work, and fight day and night in the production line.

When the final assembly and debugging of the shield machine entered a critical stage, there was no action in the forward and reverse rotation of the sudden screw machine. The commando team immediately organized personnel to carry out fault troubleshooting, worked out a plan overnight, and set the opening of the overflow valve after remote fault diagnosis, circuit troubleshooting, analysis of the working pressure moment of the screw machine on the operation panel, etc. The forward and reverse rotation of the screw machine was successfully resumed, and the final assembly of the whole machine and the electro-hydraulic joint debugging were completed ahead of schedule.
