Implement detailed flood control and disaster relief measures

This is a touching scene in flood control and disaster relief. On August 3rd, in Jingya Middle School, Diaowo Town, Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, firefighters and rescuers drove rubber boats here to rescue the trapped people. Because the height difference between the platform of the window on the second floor and the rescue boat was more than one meter, most of the trapped people were old people and children. Cao Boyuan, a firefighter involved in the rescue mission, crouched half-way, grabbed the platform with his hands, took his shoulders as a ladder and his back as a bridge, and built a life-saving passage with his own body to let the trapped people step on his shoulders and board the boat. In the past few days, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and other places and relevant departments have made every effort to carry out flood control and disaster relief work, and rescue forces from all sides are racing against time to rescue.

Flood control and disaster relief are related to the safety of people’s lives and property, food security, economic security, social security and national security. It is very important to do a good job in flood control and disaster relief. During an inspection tour in Jiangsu, the General Secretary of the Supreme Leader pointed out that "all localities and departments should base themselves on preventing floods, fighting droughts and saving major disasters, adhere to the people first, putting life first, and be responsible, responsible and conscientious in defending the soil"; During his inspection tour in Sichuan, the general secretary emphasized that "the main responsibility of flood control and disaster relief should be fully implemented"; Recently, the General Secretary made important instructions on flood control and disaster relief work, demanding "to fully protect people’s lives and property safety and overall social stability" … … A series of important instructions have pointed out the direction for flood control and disaster relief.

Flood control and disaster relief is a big test, which tests the disaster prevention and relief system and emergency management ability, and tests the feelings and responsibilities for the people. "There are more than 20 villages lost in front, and the people are waiting for us to enter." This is the firm determination of a people’s army to overcome all difficulties. "As party member, I must stand up", which is a solemn oath of a young Communist party member. "To ensure the life, health and safety of the affected people, there is no room for carelessness", which is the unchanging belief of a grassroots doctor to protect health. Emergency rescue is related to the safety of the masses, and we can’t wait or slow down. Adhering to the people first and life first means trying every means to create all conditions, eliminate all difficulties and ensure the safety of people’s lives and property.

The people’s interests are above everything else, and the responsibility for flood control is more important than Mount Tai. At present, it is the most vigorous stage of "seven downs and eight ups" flood control. The flood in Haihe River basin is flowing to the downstream plain area, with a large number of reservoirs exceeding the flood limit, the opening of flood storage and detention areas has increased, and the rain in Northeast China is still strong. Typhoon Kanu this year has brought strong wind and rain impact to Jiangsu and Zhejiang coastal areas, and the task of flood control and disaster relief is arduous. The more complicated the situation is, the more we must tighten our strings, the more we must maintain a sense of responsibility that we can’t rest assured at all times, enhance the sense of urgency that cannot be delayed, and boost the spirit of taking action. Only by firmly shouldering the responsibility and dealing with the uncertainty of flood with the certainty of various measures can we minimize casualties and property losses. All regions and relevant departments must firmly establish the bottom line thinking and extreme thinking, deal with small probability events with high probability thinking, take the initiative to prevent and resolve risks, strengthen monitoring, forecasting and early warning, strengthen patrol duty, keep a close eye on key parts of flood control, and implement various flood control and disaster relief measures.

Recently, due to heavy rainfall, the K396 train was forced to stay near Luopoling Station in Mentougou District, Beijing. In order to give nearly 1,000 passengers the greatest possible care, the residents of Luopoling community took out their home materials to help the trapped passengers without reservation. The story of helping each other through thick and thin has touched countless netizens. If we tighten the string of flood control, make more detailed emergency preparations, and take more concrete responsibility measures, we will not be afraid of the wind and rain, face up to difficulties, unite as one, and unite as one, and we will certainly be able to gather the majestic forces to overcome floods and win the tough battle of flood control and disaster relief.

How to calculate power consumption? What is the formula for calculating power consumption?

Calculation method of electrical appliances’ power consumption: No matter what kind of electrical appliances are, the power (watts, represented by the letter W) will be marked on the manual or nameplate. Usually, what kind of kilowatt-hour is what we call the power consumption, and the concept is the power consumed by an electrical appliance with a power of 1000(W) in one hour.

In this question, W=P*T, where w is work, that is, the consumed electric energy; P is power; T is time. 350W*1h=350wh=0.35Kwh=0.35 degrees.

Calculation formula: 1KW×1 1h =1 kwh, 350w ÷ 1000w = 0.35kw × 1h =0.35KWH (kwh).

Finally, it’s coming out! A tornado appeared in Guangdong.

Guangdong meteorological department

Informed on the evening of August 17th.

Chaozhou city that afternoon

Recorded a tornado process

Cause trees to collapse

Individual factory buildings are damaged

↓↓↓

It is reported that the tornado appeared at the junction of Zhongshan Avenue and Fengdong Road in Pupu Village, Tiepu Town, xiangqiao district at about 15: 45 on the same day, and landed in Pupu Village for 1-2 minutes, with the whole moving path length of 100-200 meters. After preliminary identification, the tornado is EF0-EF1 intensity.

During the tornado, the automatic weather observation station in Tiepu Town measured the maximum gust of 14.4m/s (level 7) at 16: 00 that day. The tornado caused some trees in Pupu Village, Tiepu Town, Xiangqiao District to collapse, and some enterprises’ factories were damaged.

It is reported that EF0-EF1 tornadoes belong to a weak level in the tornado level, but once they appear, they may still cause some damage.

Recently, tornadoes have entered a period of high incidence!

In South China, generally speaking, Guangdong and Hainan are provinces with high incidence of tornadoes, while Guangxi is relatively rare. Tornadoes mainly occur in the flood season, which can be roughly divided into two categories. One category is tornadoes in the pre-flood season, which are produced in the background of the westerly weather system and often accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds; The other is the tornado in the late flood season, which mainly occurs in the background of tropical cyclones.

On July 2, 2022, Typhoon Siam made landfall in Guangdong, causing at least six tornadoes, namely, in Chaoan District, Chaozhou, Guangdong, Nan ‘ao, Shantou and Shishan, Foshan on July 2, and in Huangpu, Guangzhou, Sanshui, Foshan and Huadu, Guangzhou on the morning of July 4.

On October 4th, 2015, the tornado intensity around Typhoon Rainbow reached EF3, which was the strongest tropical cyclone tornado recorded in South China. On April 13, 2019, a tornado occurred in Xuwen, Zhanjiang, with an intensity of EF3, making it the strongest westerly tornado recorded in South China.

Tornadoes in South China are mostly caused by tropical cyclones. Statistics show that in 2021, Guangdong and Hainan are the regions with the highest incidence of tropical cyclones and tornadoes in China. This is not only related to the fact that the region is most affected by tropical cyclones, but also related to the geographical environment of the region, which is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with many flat areas and many trumpet-shaped topography (such as the Pearl River Delta Plain and Leizhou Peninsula).

If you encounter a tornado outdoors or at home.

China scientists look for ways to predict earthquakes from space.

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, March 18th (Reporter Yu Fei, Yang Chunxue) More than 1,800 years after Zhang Heng invented the seismograph, scientists in China are using the satellite named after him to search for abnormal electromagnetic signals from space before the earthquake, trying to solve the problem of earthquake prediction and reduce the damage caused by natural disasters.

"Although we can’t predict earthquakes at present, we are working hard in this direction. I believe that in another 10 to 20 years, earthquake prediction is expected to usher in a breakthrough." Shen Xuhui, a researcher at the National Space Science Center of China Academy of Sciences, an academician of the International Academy of Astronautics, and the chief scientist and deputy chief designer of the "Zhang Heng-1" satellite program, said.

At 15: 51 on February 2, 2018, China successfully launched the electromagnetic monitoring test satellite "Zhangheng No.1" with the Long March II carrier rocket at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and entered the scheduled orbit. Xinhua News Agency (photo by Wang Jiangbo)

At the recent 35th National Symposium on Space Exploration, Shen Xuhui introduced the progress of "Zhang Heng No.1" launched in 2018 in five years: global geomagnetic field data and global low-frequency electromagnetic spectrum data were obtained; The world-leading global reference geomagnetic field model and cross-layer coupling propagation model of low-frequency electromagnetic waves are established, which have been evaluated by the International Union of Geomagnetism and High-altitude Physics and successfully selected for the calculation of the new generation of international geomagnetic reference field.

Earthquake prediction has always been a difficult problem in the world. The main reason is that it is difficult for scientists to accumulate enough destructive earthquake cases to form statistics and verify prediction methods and theories. In addition, it is difficult to detect the situation from the source to the surface by the existing technical means.

Satellite monitoring has broken through the limitation of traditional seismological research, and electromagnetic waves can spread from underground to space across circles. Statistics show that there is obvious correlation between space electromagnetic disturbance and earthquake occurrence. Scientists can expand their observation range to the global scale through satellites. On average, there are 18 earthquakes of magnitude 7 or above every year in the world. From the perspective of observation and collection of earthquake cases, "one year in the sky is equal to twenty or thirty years on the ground". Satellite monitoring allows scientists to carry out large-scale statistical research and provides a basis for testing various methods and models.

"Zhangheng No.1" is the first satellite of the space-based observation platform of China Earthquake Stereoscopic Observation System. It can give full play to the advantages of large dynamic, wide viewing angle and all-weather observation from space. By obtaining global observation data of electromagnetic field, ionospheric plasma and high-energy particles, it can carry out real-time monitoring of ionospheric dynamics and earthquake precursor tracking in China and its surrounding areas, make up for the shortage of ground observation and open up new ways to explore earthquake monitoring and prediction.

Shen Xuhui introduced that "Zhang Heng No.1" has observed about 60 earthquakes of magnitude 7 or above, nearly 600 earthquakes of magnitude 6 or above and tens of thousands of earthquakes of magnitude 5 around the world. "We found that as many as 80% of earthquakes with magnitude 6 or above had obvious precursor signals in the first half of the month, mostly in the week before the earthquake. Usually, the precursor signals detected by satellites do not appear directly above the epicenter and often deviate from the epicenter by hundreds of kilometers. "

Shen Xuhui admits that at present, a large number of precursor signals are found in the data after the earthquake, and only a few are found in advance. This is because the data processing is very complicated, and it is impossible to track the global data in real time with limited manpower and computing power.

He said that there is still a big gap between earthquake prediction and accurate prediction of time, place and intensity. To truly realize earthquake prediction, we must rely on the combination of seismology, electromagnetism, geodesy, geochemistry and other multidisciplinary means.

"But I am full of hope for the future. I think earthquake prediction can finally be realized. In another 10 years, we will accumulate massive observation data. With the development of information technology such as machine learning, big data and artificial intelligence, the computing power is becoming more and more powerful, which can carry out real-time data processing before the earthquake. In addition, we also need the interdisciplinary development of seismology and physics to study the ultra-high temperature and ultra-high pressure underground seismic source environment. " Shen Xuhui said.

In addition to earthquake monitoring, "Zhangheng No.1" has also become an accurate recorder of space weather activities, supporting the formation of space weather disaster monitoring and early warning capabilities and providing protection for communication and navigation environment management. For example, the geomagnetic storm that occurred in August 2018 was the strongest geomagnetic storm recorded since the launch of Zhang Heng-1. In addition, volcanoes, solar eclipses, tsunamis, storm surges, and magnetic anomalies in the South Atlantic have also been accurately recorded by "Zhang Heng No.1", showing its good application prospects in monitoring and early warning of space weather disasters, extreme weather disasters and volcanic activities.

Shen Xuhui introduced that China plans to launch the "Zhangheng No.1 02" satellite. This new satellite will realize 24-hour uninterrupted monitoring, and expand its observation range to the north and south poles of the earth, thus enhancing its ability to observe changes in the earth system. "The combination of 02 and 01 stars can realize the observation of a complete solar activity cycle for 11 years."

Zhang Heng-1 is the first star of China Geophysical Field Exploration Satellite Program. Shen Xuhui pointed out that in the future, this plan will continue to pay attention to the exploration of monitoring and early warning technologies for major natural disasters such as earthquakes, closely combine the themes of livable earth, global change and sustainable development, and promote the earth system science, especially the coupling process of the key spheres of the earth and its disasters and environmental effects.

Teresa Teng’s 10 "appearances" in the 20 years since his death.

Teresa Teng is a rare talented singer in Chinese music and a key figure in the history of Asian pop culture in the second half of the 20th century. During its active 1970s and 1980s, Teresa Teng made indisputable achievements in Taiwan Province, Hongkong and Japanese performing arts markets respectively, and set a number of first-time records among Chinese singers. Especially in China mainland audience market, Teresa Teng’s influence on people at that time had already surpassed the identity of an ordinary singer, and he was once nicknamed "Lao Deng is not as good as Xiao Deng".

May 8th is the 20th anniversary of the death of Teresa Teng, a famous Chinese singer. Her childhood alma mater and the History Museum of Luzhou Primary School in New Taipei City exhibited old photos and records of Teresa Teng. Liao Hanquan, a teacher in Teresa Teng Primary School, recalled Teresa Teng’s early years, while the New Taipei City Government launched the "Luzhou Special of Teresa Teng’s Hometown" in the latest issue of its subordinate publication "Protecting New Taipei City". On May 9th, Teresa Teng Cultural and Educational Foundation held a "Public Concert for the 20th Anniversary of Teresa Teng’s Death" in Taipei Dome. On the other side, the collective memories of Teresa Teng have come and gone. Not only did the media compete for articles, but the singer Faye Wong also announced that at 5: 08 pm on May 8, Teresa Teng’s unfinished "Qingpingdiao" would be released globally at the same time, and two days later, the duet would be held from a distance.

In the 20 years since Teresa Teng left on May 8, 1995, people’s memory of this Asian singer has never been dull. There are countless commemorative activities for her, which shows that Teresa Teng plays an important role in the Chinese cultural circle.

1. In May 2015, Teresa Teng was resurrected and sang with Yu-Ching Fei and Faye Wong.

Digital Domain makes use of the 3D technology of Hollywood movies, enabling the audience to witness Teresa Teng’s projection on the stage and sing against singer Yu-Ching Fei on May 9th, which will be the most classic and anticipated concert in Taiwan Province. Faye Wong will also launch the unfinished song "Qingpingdiao" on May 8th, so as to achieve duet with Teresa Teng.

Second, in November, 2013, the countdown to the Golden Horse Award, reviewing the beautiful image of Teresa Teng.

During the countdown, the Executive Committee of the Golden Horse Awards played the video materials of Teresa Teng singing in the 17th Golden Horse Awards.
