At present, the latest catalogue information reveals that Lifan has independently developed a new displacement engine-1.5L displacement.

LF7152 is the latest catalog number, but Lifan has never registered any 1.5L displacement model catalog before, which means that LF7152 is the first Lifan 1.5L model, but the most surprising thing is not the 1.5L engine, but the catalog number of 7152. A careful look at the catalogue sorting law of Lifan’s existing models can reveal its true intention. The catalog numbers of the series are LF7130/7160()LF7131/7161 (), the catalog number of the series is LF7162, and the catalog number of the series is LF7132. According to the numbers, it is lifan 620 and lifan 320 that are most likely to be equipped with 1.5L engines.

Is lifan 620 or lifan 320 the first to carry the newly developed 1.5L engine? It is difficult to judge by the data obtained at present, and the only one that can be compared is the box emission control device. At present, the crankcase model of lifan 620 is MXF-PCV-471, while that of lifan 320 is G01. Because the crankcase model of the model No.7152 is exactly the same as that of lifan 620, it is preliminarily judged that the first matching model is lifan 620. In fact, from the perspective of the model itself, it is more likely that it should be lifan 620. Lifan 320’s is only 2340mm, which is a typical mini car. It is more than enough to use a 65kW 1.3L engine to propel a 900kg car body, and it is not very meaningful to use 1.5L again.
About the technical origin of 1.5L engine, we can get a general idea from the engine model. The LF479Q engine was developed by Lifan according to the 8A series, and then it was improved according to its own actual situation, and the LF479Q3 1.3L engine was developed, which was widely used in Lifan’s 520 and 320 models. However, this LF479Q2 is the first appearance. Judging from the Arabic numeral 2 with the suffix, it should be developed at the same time as 1.3L, but the development progress is relatively backward.
