At the end of last year, SAIC released the official map of the first SUV model of MG brand for the first time, and then, the car was named "MG GS" by SAIC. Considering that pure English names may not be conducive to later marketing, it is particularly important to have a suitable Chinese name. A few days ago, Netcom learned from the official SAIC passenger car that the Chinese name of MG GS was officially designated as "MG Ruiteng", and this SUV will be released and listed in April this year. Although the name may sound awkward for the time being, I believe that with more in-depth publicity, the word MG Ruiteng will be familiar to more consumers.
MG Ruiteng is a high-performance SUV that integrates the superior resources of SAIC in styling design, power control, off-road performance, comfortable driving and intelligent application of car networking. After Ruiteng is officially put into production, all models sold in China will be named in Chinese, while those exported overseas will continue to use the name "MG GS".
Not long ago, SAIC officially released a new strategic SUV architecture SSA platform, and MG Ruiteng is the first product developed based on this technology platform. As a compact SUV, Ruiteng has a body length, width and height of 4,500 mm/1,855 mm/1,675 mm (without luggage rack) and a wheelbase of 2,650 mm.. Thanks to the advantages of wheelbase and car length, the spatial performance of MG Ruiteng is better than most competing products at the same level.
